But it was hard that is why i only fly there when the weather sunny or something like that. But like they say in aircrash investigation trust your instrument in these type of situation. I almost had to cancel the landed since the gust of wind was almost pushing me off the runway also visibility was so low i couldn't even see the runway. I remember one time i landed there when it had so mayor thunderstorm in the summer time that is when hurricane season starts here in the Caribbean. Also to note that not all airports have ILS and you will have to make a GPS or visual landing. Its easy to fix, download ADE, airport design editor, open the BGL for that airport, check to see that the ILS feather is aligned with the runway, if not enter the correct heading, confirm it is correct, then compile put into FSX and your good to go, takes all of 5 minutes. ![]() ![]() īut wawo sometime when you think of it princess juliana should really get an ils system they have such a big runway with no ils system. In the info, look for your runway and on the far right of the info section, you will see a radio frequency for the ILS. So when i saw the aircraft swirling from left to right then i quickly took manual control i had spare time to line up with the runway since i was descending about 136 Knots an princess juliana runway is long dow so i flare up a little an landed at 129 knots that is the speed the aircraft touch the ground with out stalling since i have lost tremendous amount of fuel in my journey. An the co pilot said glideslope alive i was like what!. Thanks for the reply, but i was like what an for some reason it was going to the runway. Now I'm not sure its just a PMDG deal but the AFCAD made the localizer courses correct so I suspect the default bgl was screwed up. Its easy to fix, download ADE, airport design editor, open the BGL for that airport, check to see that the ILS feather is aligned with the runway, if not enter the correct heading, confirm it is correct, then compile put into FSX and your good to go, takes all of 5 minutes. Each time i always said to myself I was going to fix that. I noticed it with the PMDG MD11 as I often fly cargo into there from Miami. Update to Alexander Czarneckis WADDADEXV1.ZIP scenery. Corrects the FSX default scenery runway 27 localizer position and orientation. AFCAD for Bali International Airport, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, v2. the FSX localizer course is incorrect, I just downloaded an AFcad from the AVSIM library that fixed it last night before I flew there. The ground frequency in real life is also outside of FSXs capabilities so I had to make it 121.000 MHz. I moved the localizer slightly to one side at runway 16 at YMML so now the aircraft lands right on the centerline and not to one side. The BGL airport files that I change and are the ones from MyTraffic X.You are not imagining things. Checked the Navdata arrival plate for the runway and indeed it was wrong. Now the aircraft tracks exactly the runway heading and lands smack on the center of the runway.I changed an ILS frequency at EIDW after the nav radio informed me, via a FMC message, while trying to tune to it during an approach that it was an invalid frequency. I moved the localizer to align with the runway centerline. An example of what I am talking about is Runway 16L at YSSY, the approach was always to the right of the runway and I always touched down on the grass on the righthand side. I do hope that you are checking the charts to make certain that there IS an error before making changes. What I usually do is check the chart but also I look where the localizer is by zooming in with google maps to check is actual position in the real world.
